4 verses to proactively praise God in the wait

I find it amazing how God works.  I do not know why I am still stunned but I am and may I always be.  But recently I spoke with a lady and afterward, she contacted me to join her network marketing team as she felt it was a way to help me.

I was blessed to immediately realize that her mission field is not mine.

God immediately dropped multiple reasons into my heart why I should not move.

1) God rarely has us in our comfort zone

2) My testimony is better told through my store not her group

3) God is notorious for making us wait to see our promise fulfilled

4) Obedience to what God says is necessary for His saints.

I share this because if you are feeling insecure or let down at where you are if you are feeling deflated or confused about the timing of the promises of God. If you are feeling that maybe you heard God wrong because this road is soo hard.  I want to encourage you not to give up.

I want to tell you that God is working ahead of you preparing your next steps but those steps work when you stay planted and let Him do the work He needs to do to prepare you for the next.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11

But while we are waiting I want to encourage us to start praising God for what is in the pipeline.  Give God so proactive praise.

Here are four verses to proactively praise God in the wait.

1) Isaiah 25:1

O Lord, You are my God I will exalt you, I will praise you, and give thanks to Your name. For you have done miraculous things. Plans formed long, long ago  with perfect faithfulness

2) Exodus 15:12

The Lord is my strength and my song And he has become my salvation. This is my God and I will praise Him.  My fathers God and I will exalt Him.

3) Psalm 129:2

Many times they have persecuted me from my youth Yet they have not prevailed against me.

4) Psalm 147:1

Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our [gracious and majestic] God; Praise is becoming and appropriate.

Those steps only work if we stay planted and let God do the work to prepare us for them… YES! It’s so hard, but so necessary!
